We are seeking an experienced QA Tester with strong test design and documentation skills to support Agile software development projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience creating detailed test cases for web applications, APIs, system integrations, and document-processing solutions , with specific experience in Kofax .
This role is heavily focused on test case design, test strategy, documentation, and requirements traceability , with limited hands-on test execution.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, write, maintain, and organize comprehensive test cases, test scenarios, and test plans .
Develop reusable test documentation based on business requirements, technical specifications, and system integration flows.
Design detailed test cases for API integrations, web services, interfaces, data exchanges, and system-to-system integrations .
Create specialized test scenarios for Kofax capture, document processing, data extraction, transformation, validation, and workflow routing .
Analyze requirements and technical specifications to identify test conditions, edge cases, and potential risks.
Collaborate with product managers, developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements.
Maintain testing documentation and requirements traceability matrices .
Use Jira and Xray for test case management, requirements alignment, traceability, and test documentation.
Review API payloads and component interactions to develop precise and effective test scenarios.
Perform exploratory or targeted validation when required.
Communicate test scenarios, requirements, issues, and technical findings clearly to development and business teams.
4+ years of software quality assurance/testing experience in an Agile environment .
4+ years of experience using Jira for defect tracking, requirements alignment, and test management.
4+ years of test design experience with Kofax capture and document automation solutions .
4+ years of experience with Xray for test case management, execution mapping, and requirements traceability.
Strong experience designing test cases for interface and integration testing , including APIs, web services, data exchanges, and system integrations.
Understanding of testing web applications using Angular and backend systems built with Java / Java-based microservices .
Ability to interpret technical specifications, API payloads, and system/component interactions.
